Social media sites invite users to express their "individual selves," but what about a forum where users can express their "work selves"? This is exactly what YammerTM provides. Where Twitter asks, "What are you doing?," Yammer asks, "What are you working on?" Introduced at the 2008 TechCrunch50 Conference, the initial purpose of Yammer was to allow co-workers to share project updates. Based on information on the Yammer website, it is now used by more than 10 ILTA White Paper
