When Fish & Richardson P.C. decided to take on a telecom consolidation project, our major goals were to move all our analog voice services to one vendor with a single billing platform, a centralized support contact and added redundancy. We had the same goals for our primary rate interface (PRI) services, although we also wanted to clean up and prune unnecessary analog lines. Our firm has 11 offices in the U.S. and one in Germany; however, our efforts were focused on consolidating only our U.S. offices. Choosing a Consulting Group Our first task was choosing a telecom consulting group that understood what we were trying to accomplish. We wanted to avoid high fees and enjoy overall cost savings.
