Who are the consumers of business intelligence (BI) information?
John Callahan: Traditionally, BI users have been analysts and folks in the business development and marketing organizations. But as firms are being increasingly challenged with new ways of doing business, BI usage has expanded to the partnership and practice group leadership levels — those who are out in the field tracking new clients and developing new business relationships need information in order to make quick decisions.
