In 2009, we decided that the concept of unified communications was a perfect strategic fit for our business. WHAT IS UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS? For McInnes Cooper (MC), unified communications (UC) includes methods of aggregating different ILTA White Paper forms of traditional business communication (e.g., telephone, voicemail, e-mail) as well as adding new communication tools (e.g., presence, instant messaging and video calling).
