ABOUT THE AUTHORS PEDRO ACOSTA, a Senior Systems Engineer at McAngus Goudelock & Courie, LLC, has more than 10 years of experience in computer systems and client/server environments. He is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, VMware Certified Professional and Citrix Engineer, with a focus on disaster recovery, messaging and virtualization. SHANE CALLAGHAN is the Director of Information Technology for McInnes Cooper, a regional law firm with seven offices in Atlantic Canada. Over the past 20 years, Shane has provided IT and financial systems consulting services for an international accounting firm, managed the IT department for a regional school board, directed professional services delivery for a regional IT service provider, and provided independent IT infrastructure and security consulting services to a variety of corporate, small business and public sector organizations. Shane is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia, and is designated as an IT specialist by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. BARRY GILL, Enterprise Consultant at Mimecast, is a veteran of the ICT sector, involved in growing and developing the technology industry sector for the last 15 years. Before joining Mimecast in 2005, Barry developed his considerable expertise in software as a service (SaaS) and unified e-mail management through senior technical positions at leading South African ICT companies including UUNET and the Botswana Telecommunications Corporation.
