CREATING A CULTURE OF EFFICIENCY XXXX WITH ENTERPRISE SEARCH are combined to provide a single view, which eliminates search silos. For example, when a search is performed on a client matter number, results include matters listed from Elite, documents from iManage and contacts from InterAction via a single user query. Matter Pages. Similar to custom sites, matter pages utilize the same concept where documents are retrieved via an iManage Web part. Documents are launched and run through iManage's preview technology. People have the ability to recategorize and reprofile documents. awareness indicates if the expert is available or offline, and provides the option to call, email or send the expert an instant message. Document Previews. Instead of attorneys having to open every single document to determine if it contains the content they are looking for, document previews significantly reduce the amount of time spent looking for information. Color-coded hit highlighting within the document also shows how many hits there are for a topic. People can navigate easily to the most relevant content. Users can search by topic for the firm's experts and return a set of results with the top 10 documents for each individual expert. A search for nanotechnology patent infringement will surface an attorney's documents, time notes, deal database entries and biography to determine expertise. To tie expertise into the larger SharePoint platform, someone searching for expertise will be directed automatically to the expert's My Site profile in SharePoint, where they can view the expert's tags and recent activities. The system's presence To create a full data mashup, we are integrating citation flags directly in the preview. The attorney can avoid having to open a document and run a citation check to determine if the case law being used is still relevant.
