We have people using iPads to connect remotely through Citrix (XenApp
5.1). Some new iPad purchasers have downloaded and installed the
Receiver app and can't connect to Citrix. Has anyone seen an issue with
recently purchased iPads and Citrix Receiver not working?

After playing around with this for a bit, I discovered I have to hit Options
in the new account setup (before entering server information), select
Manual Setup and then select XenApp Services. Then fill in the rest of
the remote server details in order to get the Receiver for iPad (and other
mobile devices) to work properly.

We're seeing the same issue. Another workaround is to go to Safari on the
iPad and go to our Citrix website. That launches the Receiver app.
