What an odd choice for a neuroradiology peer-reviewed journal! Indeed, authentic innovation that inspires substantial change typically feels a bit strange at first. Change means that processes, approaches, ideas, tools, techniques, and perspectives will differ from what they were even in the recent past. We must remain open, curious, and willing to consider new perspectives to adapt. By doing so, we build resilience—the skill poised to become the most valuable asset in our professional development toolboxes from here forward. When I began academic exploration of Teilhard's work ten years ago, I aimed to substantiate the claim that he furthered a strand of intellectual history traceable back to Isaac Newton and the Renaissance. Vocational resiliency was the trusty compass that led me to ILTA, a community I never imagined would be a part of my future. That same resiliency gifted me with a unique perspective to share with you, the ILTA-verse, as you explore the brave new world(views) and perspectives in this publication. I often hear that "no one could have predicted (what has happened with) AI." That claim is inaccurate. Someone did predict it in the 1950s, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (Teilhard). He coined the term "Omega Point" and defined it as "the final step [in the universal evolutionary process] before 'Singularity' takes place" (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih. gov/articles/PMC7966419/). Teilhard charted humanity's complex evolutionary course with remarkable accuracy. Over the past two years as an ILTAn, witnessing the legal sector's shift into the Digital Age, I've observed Teilhard's indicators of arriving at the Omega Point become undeniable realities. Only one remains unfulfilled. In Teilhard's words, this absent step in humanity's evolutionary progression is the most critical part of our collective sojourn. It is "The Heart of the Matter." I'll use my words to tell you that many ingredients for the proverbial "secret to success sauce" for this final step are within the collection of articles in this Fall Peer to Peer. We won't find the missing piece while developing new technology or intellectualizing ways to increase fiduciary gains. It's not hiding in the cloud or even in the advanced neural networks that increasingly mimic human brains. No, our next step requires reimagining how we engage with one another as human beings, and how we create and nurture our communities. This next part is about how we choose to work and grow together, as a species.
