Member / I N N O V A T I V E L E A D E R O F T H E Y E A R Simply put, Sarah Hirebet has made our legal KM community stronger. Through her innovative application of technology, her leadership in KM, and her dedication to professional development, she has made an indelible impact on the legal technology profession. Sarah also pioneered a partnership with vLex focused on creating a standard curriculum model to enable lawyers to adopt GenAI as a part of their practice. This partnership co- created the Stradley Labs Legal GenAI Drivers Certification, which centers on a set of core competencies delivered through hands-on practice, hackathons, gamification, and modeling best instructional practices. The certification program, which incentivizes participation by including 13 CLE credits, aims to create a cohort of early-adopter lawyers equipped to critically deploy GenAI with and for the firm and its consenting clients. Sarah's approach to leadership and KM initiatives is based on a deep respect for the expertise and contributions of her colleagues. She engages stakeholders while designing new KM tools, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are prioritized. Sarah's work includes building web-based process maps, interactive infographics and dynamic checklists. Sarah is dedicated to sharing both her successes and lessons learned. Her recent presentation at ILTA's Master Class on KM transformation showcased her commitment to fostering professional growth by sharing strategies to overcome resistance to change in KM and adopt new technologies. Before joining Stradley Ronon, Sarah was co-chair of the Measuring Our Progress committee for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius' Mobilizing for Equality efforts and she now works closely with Stradley Ronon's Inclusion team on communications campaigns promoted through the Stradosphere. Sarah frequently speaks at legal tech conferences — including ILTA's Master Class, ALAS Annual General Meeting, ARK National Summit on Law Firm Operations, and KM&I for Legal — focusing on overcoming resistance to change, ethics compliance, risk management, recruitment and retention strategies, and building KM and GenAI programs. Sarah's vision for KM systems centers on a sense of welcome and delight, which validates Stradley Ronon's commitment to a culture of excellence that empowers individuals to express themselves with authenticity, engage in more honest communication, and contribute perspectives that harness the full spectrum of their creativity and experiences.
