lchemy is the process of attempting to convert something of lesser value to a highly valuable
substance, the old example being turning lead into gold. Similarly, the legal industry is
hard at work on the alchemy of artificial intelligence (AI), as it collectively experiments to
leverage the value of AI tools to produce value for law firms, corporate law departments,
and government agencies from a legal or business standpoint.
Legal business software leader Aderant and innovation-oriented Vanderbilt Law School recently joined
forces to collaborate on AI alchemy, to bring more AI education, experimentation, and advancements to law
students and law firms around the world.
Aderant has been at the forefront of incorporating practical uses of AI into both internal operations and its
