O R G Technology Issues and Annoyances The chart below showing the 2020 and 2021 results of "What are the top three technology issues or annoyances within your firm?", was not presented in this year's survey results, but it's interesting. Exactly what does "User Feedback" mean? Are the attorneys yelling at you or are you actually polling them? While it's critical to get their feedback, polling is challenging, as we've learned in the last few U.S. election cycles. Many busy attorneys don't respond to a poll unless they're unhappy. "IT Spending as a percent of revenue" (last year's winner) is a nice idea, but in order to use it as a metric, you have to have other numbers to compare it to, and there is so much variation between firms as to what constitutes "IT", it's very difficult, if not impossible, to compare apples to apples.
