member resources Product Announcements Aderant announced it has launched a General Ledger (GL) cube as part of its Aderant Expert ClearView business intelligence application for law and professional services firms. The GL cube gives firms the ability to perform detailed financial analyses to drive informed business decisions that propel performance and profitability. Advanced Discovery announced the launch of two new specialized technology tools: Advanced Visibility and Advanced Review. These proprietary tools provide key information about document review and e-discovery projects, visually and in real time. Both tools are plugged in to run right in kCura's Relativity with a single login, are simple to use and do not impact database performance. Along with the company's early case assessment tool, Advanced FirstLook, these tools provide enhanced functions and features and are exclusively available from Advanced Discovery. Advanced Productivity Software (APS) announced the release of DTE Axiom for iOS Good Technology Edition –– the first time-capture management mobile application for the legal industry with enterprise-level security. The Good Technology version of the DTE Axiom for iOS app gives law firm and other service-related professionals the ability to enter, edit and capture time securely, wherever they are, from their iPads or iPhones. AlphaLit announced the release of E-Predict, its advanced auto coding software. By combining cutting-edge technology with AlphaLit's proven review and batching system, users can defensibly eliminate a majority of their data almost immediately. By applying a simplified and defensible workflow, E-Predict users have reduced their potentially responsive populations by up to 80 percent. Bellefield Systems announced the availability of iTimeKeep for firms using Total Office Financial. An attorney can create time entries directly from their iPad, iPhone or Android, and the entries are synchronized and automatically submitted to Total Office. When a new client, matter, task and activity code are created, iTimeKeep renders them visible on the devices immediately. BigHand announced the launch of BigHand for BlackBerry 10, providing a unique productivity tool that enables legal professionals to instantly send dictations or instructions on their new BlackBerry 10 smartphone to support staff for transcription and completion. In addition to lawyers being able to submit voice files directly from their BlackBerry 10 smartphone, lawyers can then track the status of all submitted dictations via the dictation app, while office-based staff can prioritize and share dictations for more efficient processing. Biscom announced enhancements to its iPad application that further secure mobile document exchange and collaboration. Legal professionals can now create secure mobile deliveries of documents, files and multimedia that were downloaded from other iPad apps, such as email or document management systems. The new additions to Biscom's iPad app extend secure transfer capabilities to all files on an iPad, including documents, photographs and videos. Daegis unveiled a new brand name for its Daegis eDiscovery platform: Daegis Edge. The new brand identity marks the significant innovation milestones that Daegis has achieved through its popular e-discovery platform and is well-suited for its product vision and development roadmap. 90 Peer to Peer Doozer Software, Inc. announced its release of Mittix, an Internet-based software product. Mittix helps people organize complex activities such as due diligence and compliance evaluations. It makes it easy to organize and track complex projects, assemble a team of internal and/or external resources, keep communications and documentation secure, and delegate and control responsibility for various tasks. eDepoze, LLC, has released the eDepoze deposition software system to improve the tried-and-true paper deposition process by combining a cloud-based repository with an iPad interface. By securely uploading exhibits electronically in advance, but only sharing them as they are introduced, eDepoze eliminates the cost and hassle associated with printing and transporting paper, supports remote depositions, keeps exhibits organized, and allows all parties to annotate and retain personal copies of all exhibits. eLaw announced new features on its popular case management platform. These key enhancements help subscribers make faster decisions and prioritize their upcoming commitments by making even more critical case data available at their fingertips. InterLegis announced that Discovery360 Enterprise is now available for Macintosh operating systems. The processing engine and database of the software can also be installed on Linux machines. Discovery360 Enterprise provides legal teams the ability to process and analyze large data collections quickly and cost-effectively. Clients can install the software on a single machine or across any number of servers on a network in order to build scalability as needed. IPRO Tech, Inc. announced the release of IPRO Eclipse 3.3. As the review component of the IPRO Enterprise digital discovery management system, IPRO Eclipse is a Web-based platform that allows users to perform better reviews in less time by taking advantage of advanced analytics that predict and prioritize responsive documents. Notable new features include the ability to select documents to mass tag, transcript management and additional security permissions. Legal Suite announced the release of a Microsoft Office Plugin that allows users to search, edit and add documents stored within the Legal Suite contract management application directly from Word or Excel. The Microsoft Office Plugin supports Office 2007 and 2010 and was developed to fit the needs of Legal Suite users. Nextpoint, Inc. has automated the import of email from Web services into Discovery Cloud and Trial Cloudservices. This new Import Email option makes it possible for litigators to manage Web-based email content for any trial, regulatory demand or other legal matter rapidly and cost-effectively. Users simply enter the appropriate email configuration and credentials, and all email and associated metadata is imported for litigation review. Pinpoint Labs announced the release of SharePoint Collector (SPC), the latest addition to its family of forensic software. The new SPC product is designed to enable a simple and straightforward approach to collections that require Microsoft SharePoint-compatible software to access and copy the site content.
