I've gotten so many messages from my social media channels welcoming me home to ILTA! That's exactly what it feels like – home. I'm sure you know the positive power of the ILTA staff and membership – but if you really want to "feel it" join the team – they put the love on you! This is an important time of year to be joining the ILTA team because it's close to our annual ILTACON. I remember the buzz that starts in March when the call to conference is made and the butterflies in your gut flutter knowing you are going to gather with all the brains in Legal Technolo (most of them friends for many years) to experience the exciting and sometime life-changing education of ILTACON. We gather in less than a month and I've got the butterflies all over again…but my perspective is changed from finding solutions for my own firm to working together with our peer membership, business partners and the awesome Education team to ensure the peer-powered education is exactly what you came here to see! During ILTACON, I'm going to catch up with as many people as I can, of course, and will also be listening for themes, thoughts and ideas about our current and future educational offerings. Together, we have built such a wonderful foundation for our education platform and my goals as the new VP of Education will be to make finding the educational content easier, reusing this fabulous content to create paths for all members to explore new learning opportunities, and to ensure that together we are creating the best content for the ILTA membership. I'd love to hear your ideas – share them with me at marti@iltanet.org. In the coming months after ILTACON, I'll be attending the many ILTA events hosted all over the world – who knows, I may even show up at some of your local events. Perspective is everything and the more I can hear from you, the better! See you at ILTACON!
