For vendors that grant wishes, here are five things to consider when creating a solution: Carefully consider the business problem to be solved. Map and refine your process, integrating the capabilities of the tool and keeping an open mind. Consider the user interface and experience. You want people to actually use it! If you do one through three and find you need to produce a 50-page quick reference guide, do not pass go, and do not collect $200. You are doing it wrong. Ensure you get from the firm a clear list of needs and an idea of how the business works. This will enable you to better meet their needs with the design/new technology you're providing.
