77 WWW.ILTANET.ORG EXTRAS Navigating Through the RFP Process Navigating Through the RFP Process Imagine you are in the marketing department at a law firm and you are tasked with answering your first request for proposal (RFP), or perhaps you are part of a corporate law department and need to develop a program to create RFPs and determine which respondents to select. What would you do? Who do you need to involve? How will you get this done? Creating and responding to RFPs for legal services is becoming increasingly common in the legal marketplace. Oen, people from several areas in an organization are involved to support this work. To help educate and inform, ILTA has developed a program of content to share throughout 2016 related to the theme of RFPs for legal services. We have several pieces of content already prepared and much more on the way. Below is a summary of the offerings. Perhaps you hold a position in a law firm involved with responding to an RFP. If so, catch up on "RFP Story: Responding to RFPs" by Peter Darling, partner at the Repachage Group, and David Leone, Director of Litigation Support at Saul Ewing LLP.
