We conduct a skills assessment every two to three years. WorDs oF WIsDom Without the 100 percent buy-in and support from firm management, it would be very difficult to keep momentum. This has been the key to our success. We give certificates to all the secretaries who achieve the required credits, and this year we had a recognition lunch where we invited all of the secretaries for a pizza party. We called up those who scored a 100 percent on their skill assessments, and they each received a $50 gift card with their certificate. Our HR director, secretary manager and director of administration were all in attendance. ILta Name . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Janet Waldon Firm . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
