There are many print-related tools available; however, most are provided by the device manufacturers or the managed print-services industry, both of which are most profitable when users print more, so those performing evaluations need to consider that aspect. Niche vendors of print management applications who understand the idiosyncrasies of the legal market are rare, but can be found. The legal market is coming to the realization that we're always going to print (in our lifetime anyway), so the task is to find efficiencies and save money where we can, and maybe save a few trees while we're at it.
