They should also be able to develop a sense of where they fit in at their firms and the impact of the work they do. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT If you are thinking, "this does not apply to me," think again! While preparing and researching content for the initiative, the content team learned the target audience for this initiative is not only new administrative professionals, lawyers and law students, but also those serving in their current roles for many years. Corporate law departments also benefit from the similarities in content, applications and vocabulary. By creating different educational tracks, the content will be geared to provide a holistic overview of life in an ever-changing legal profession that has spawned not just different business models but diverse staffing models and career tracks. These tools will aid professional development by outlining many different roles and services; the aim is to help you gain a greater appreciation of the firm's processes outside your areas of expertise and thus learn how to best service clients.
