Tikit North America announced the availability of Carpe Diem Classic 2014. This completely re- developed version of the existing Carpe Diem Classic solution forms part of Tikit's signature timekeeping software suite which includes various traditional Web and mobile time collection methods. The release of Carpe Diem Classic 2014 is an important milestone for Tikit as it delivers the trusted, well liked and efficient timekeeping user experience that lawyers are accustomed to, but with an entirely new technology foundation rewritten from the ground up. Traveling Coaches announced that the OnGuard Security Awareness Program now includes 21 modules and incorporates assessments and new communication vehicles into the mix. Workshare announced the arrival of Professional 9, an application that lets legal professionals meet the sector's rising demand for pace and precision. With firms and corporate counsels striving to achieve smarter working practices, Professional 9 allows documents to be compared, edited and collaborated on in one single application. By underpinning the modern legal professional's workflow, Professional 9 is set to be the answer for many who need to do more with 'less'. DocsCorp announced a major upgrade to its flagship product pdfDocs, a project-centric PDF management application that integrates with business applications and systems to deliver higher levels of efficiency and productivity when assembling, editing and distributing business-critical documents in PDF and PDF/A. pdfDocs 4.1 highlights include: new design; more speed; work in single document mode; text editing; new editor functions; optical character recognition support; digital signatures; and interactive e-learning. Handshake Software, Inc. announced the availability of Handshake Converter, a new product that converts documents and other files from legacy document management systems such as HP iManage, OpenText eDOCS, file shares and others to Microsoft SharePoint, both on premise and online with Office 365. As a result, the converted documents and files will also work with Matter Center for Office 365, Microsoft's new legal document management and collaboration solution. Ipro Tech, LLC announced the release of MyIpro as part of a continuing mission to make it easier for clients to do business with Ipro. MyIpro provides Ipro clients secure access to company information, product software, documentation, training guides, videos, best practices, and partner information — all within a single location. nQueue announced the next generation of its cost recovery software: iA Embedded for Xerox. iA Embedded for Xerox 4.0 has been built on the latest version of Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) and includes a redesigned interface that delivers a more natural user experience — and fewer clicks for the user — by leveraging the nQueue's innovative Adaptive Intelligence technology. iA Embedded for Xerox 4.0 is available immediately and licenses are fully transferable to new machines. PayneGroup has announced Redact Assistant 2.0, designed to redact electronic versions of Microsoft Word and Excel files while retaining the functionality of the documents. While competitive products existed prior to this release from PayneGroup, the primary differentiator is that redacted files sanitized by the PayneGroup Redact Assistant are still functional in their native format. Excel formulas will still work, and the file does not have to be converted to a graphic or PDF. Aderant announced the release of the new Aderant Expert BudgetWise module. Expert BudgeWise provides firms with a unified approach to the budgeting process, allowing for full employee-level budgeting and the reuse of available reference data, which expedites budget creation and facilitates collaboration within the budgeting process. The application's wizards and workflow features simplify the creation, distribution and upkeep of budgets, streamlining the process and ensuring accurate data. BEC Legal Systems announced the release of Docket Enterprise 3.1 which has enhanced integration for, a subscription service for court rules. BEC Docket Enterprise is legal calendar management for all practice groups. It is integrated with MS Outlook, backed by a SQL database, and part of the BEC CoreRelate Framework suite of legal applications. Business Integrity announced the release of ContractExpress for SharePoint 4.6. In addition to several feature updates and improvements, the latest product release includes integration with DocuSign Inc. The DocuSign DTM platform integration provides significant benefits to the vast number of Business Integrity customers who leverage ContractExpress for contract creation. Capensys Ltd. announced the expansion of their Skill-Up! program to include Learning in Action (LiA), a skills evaluation tool to check user efficiency within any application. In the increasingly competitive global legal market, firms are facing client demands for greater efficiency in the handling of their matters and the need to maintain profit margins when asked for alternative fee arrangements. The Capensys Skill-Up! program helps firms improve efficiency and profitability by providing a turnkey training program for attorneys and staff. CosmoLex announced the release of version 2.1 of their cloud-based law office management software. The new version adds localization features designed to support the company's international customers.
