a status update. She pulls up an app on her iPhone that
shows the status of the firm's employees; her paralegal
is online. The partner IMs the paralegal and asks her to
provide the latest from the case file. The partner quickly
has the information that can resolve the client's concern.
Immediately after she exits the meeting, the lead
attorney calls, as he could see on his desktop app that the
partner's status changed. They discuss next steps.
