Most tools and systems law firms and law departments use to manage their information were developed
before the arrival of smartphones and tablets, with their promise of ubiquitous and instantaneous access to
information. Although providing access to enterprise content using tools such as terminal services, Citrix, and VPN
connections is well-established, providing access from mobile devices continues to evolve and requires a different
analytical and technical approach. Developing your mobile strategy is further complicated by the multiple enterprise
content repositories to which you need to provide access, as well as the attendant diffusion of responsibility and
