F iona Campbell is a commercial litigation lawyer with a specialist focus on AI, edisclosure, and legal technology. She has particular expertise in translating emerging AI capabilities into practical, defensible workflows for litigation, investigations, disclosure, and regulatory matters. Fiona was instrumental in building Fieldfisher LLP's ediscovery practice and AI advisory capability, helping to develop practical workflows that combined litigation strategy, disclosure obligations, active learning, generative AI, and quality assurance. Her work has focused on ensuring that technology is used in a way that is transparent, proportionate, and procedurally defensible. She is also part of a committee of U.K. lawyers and judges working on updates to the current PD57AD disclosure rules, including how the rules should address the use of technology and generative AI in litigation. Her advisory work has included AI-assisted document review in the context of a major public inquiry concerning technology and governance of a faulty IT system, reinforcing her focus on transparency, auditability, and procedural integrity in high- stakes legal review exercises. Fiona has designed and advised on AI-enabled workflows across litigation, privacy, regulatory investigations, and corporate due diligence, integrating active learning and generative AI tools to improve efficiency, quality assurance, and cost predictability. She also advises on disclosure strategy, review design, and cost budgeting where technology-assisted or AI-driven review is involved. Beyond her firm work, Fiona is a member of the U.K. Law Society AI Task Force, participates in U.K. government AI innovation workshops, and serves on the Relativity Law Firm Advisory Board. Recognized as a Relativity AI Innovator in 2025 and recipient of the AI Visionary Award, Fiona is also a frequent speaker at ILTA, Legal Geek, Relativity Fest, and London International Disputes Week, where she shares guidance on responsible AI deployment in legal practice.
