Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google,
once said, "A diverse mix of
voices leads to better discussions,
decisions, and outcomes for
everyone." ILTA wholeheartedly
agrees with this sentiment. Six
years ago, we established the first
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
(DEI) Task Force to foster a
culture of diversity, equity, and
inclusion within our organization
and the legal technology
community. Recognizing the
ongoing importance of DEI,
the Board transitioned the
task force into a permanent
committee. By promoting DEI values, the committee aims to create a more
inclusive environment where all members feel valued and respected.
Each committee member brings a unique perspective and a wealth of
experience, contributing to our collective goal of advancing DEI initiatives.
We invite you to get to know these members and the perspectives they
bring to ILTA's DEI journey.
CLIMATE SURVEY
For over 40 years, ILTA has been working to foster a community and learning how
continue the advancement of human-powered legal learning. In 2020, ILTA added
Value: "Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the ILTA community."
this Core Value, ILTA established a DEI Task Force with staff support and participation,
from the Task Force, came the Climate Survey.
