Business Partner / I N N O V A T I V E L E A D E R O F T H E Y E A R This agentic AI document tagging supersedes traditional TAR, predictive coding, and human review for first-level document review, delivering results significantly faster than traditional methods and identifying a higher percentage of relevant documents. In addition to first-level document review, attorneys use Syllo's features to leverage AI to enhance a wide range of litigation objectives, including creating summaries of key documents, building case narratives, preparing for depositions, analyzing transcripts, and managing exhibits. Syllo's Customer Service team provides comprehensive training and support to litigation teams utilizing these innovative tools. Jeffrey and his co-founder, Theodore Rostow, are committed to educating future attorneys on AI's transformative impact on the legal landscape. They co-teach, with Professor William N. Eskridge, Jr., a seminar on Artificial Intelligence, the Legal Profession, and Procedure and a black letter Civil Procedure course at Yale Law School. Both courses explore AI's influence on legal practice. In March 2025, Jeffrey co-authored a whitepaper detailing various litigation teams' experiences with Syllo's Agentic AI document review system in complex litigations. In 2024, he co-authored a chapter in the ABA book, Artificial Intelligence: Legal Issues, Policy, and Practical Strategies, and contributed to the Sedona Conference Journal. He takes part in the Technology Resource Panel of the Sedona Conference, providing insights on ediscovery solutions and contributing to the development of tools, and was a panelist at ILTACON 2024. Jeffrey has co-presented on AI, litigation, and legal ethics at various AmLaw100 firms and industry conferences. His thought leadership was featured in interviews with eDiscovery Today, and he has spoken at the PLUS D&O Symposium and Legalweek panel events. I believe that Syllo is on its way to becoming the essential tool for litigation practices thanks to Jeffrey's creativity, commitment to innovation in the legal industry, tenacity, and hard work in bringing his concept to the marketplace.
