Previously, Jordan served as the AI and Data Governance Senior Manager for Perkins Coie LLP. She manages a data governance board comprised of Perkins Coie's Chiefs and a data governance council of directors collaborating with subject matter experts in critical positions to ensure coordinated approaches to firmwide data management. Jordan and her team manage the data literacy program and are responsible for three straight years of improved literacy firmwide. They oversee a metadata management program with over 1,000 governed data assets, a data analysis and quality program, and a master data team that handles all critical firm integrations. After improving business ser vices data operations , Jordan's team now works closely with specific practice groups to grow their portfolios using data. Respect, collaboration, responsiveness, and integrity define her understanding of professionalism. Jordan is intentional in her practice of making evidence-based, data-backed decisions. This type of practical decision-making requires releasing a personal agenda to discern the best pathway for implementing the firm's strateg y instead . While she brings her own experiences and best judgment, she remains flexible and open to pivoting when opportunities arise. Connecting others and encouraging relationship-building within legal tech communities is a critical piece of Jordan's approach to leadership. Her team comprises women, people of color, and various educational backgrounds. She has spoken at ILTA twice, including in 2024, and at various other events. Jordan was chosen as Collibra's Data Citizen of the Year for 2024 and has attended ILTACON every year since 2018. Jordan regularly speaks at law schools throughout Chicago and Michigan, helping future lawyers who see their contribution to the profession diverging from the traditional path . Although she does not practice law, she maintains yearly volunteer hour requirements, providing pro bono appellate litigation services to indigent clients, serving as a national moot court judge, and sit ting on an e duc ation a dvisor y b oard for a company that offers data literacy services. Jordan mentors students formally and informally, guest lecturing and helping Northwestern Law students develop their product or service innovations each year for their Legal Technology Lab course.
