Jaclyn Sattler LinkedIn / jaclynsattler 2025 WINNER 2025 / Y O U N G P R O F E S S I O N A L S T O W A T C H A s the leader of Relativity 's Strategic Initiatives team, Jaclyn Sattler manages a portfolio of the organization's m o s t a m b i g u o u s , c r o s s -f u n c t i o n a l e f f o r t s . Fr o m streng thening Relativit y 's abilit y to suppor t Public Sector customers to helping internal technical teams update the quote-to-cash systems, the Strategic Initiatives team develops actionable strategies to transform ideas into measurable and repeatable results. Additionally, Jaclyn co-founded Relativity's J u s t i c e fo r C h a n ge p r o g r a m , w h i c h p r ov i d e s f r e e u s e of Relativity's ediscovery and AI technologies to pro bono and legal organizations pursuing social justice matters. Thus far, she has helped expand the program to the EMEA and APAC regions, and equipped participants with advanced tools like Relativity aiR for Review and Translate in RelativityOne. Through her work with Justice for Change, Jaclyn helped provide the Washington Lawyers' Committee with access to Relativity's tools for their investigation into the D.C. Gang Database, which uncovered inaccuracies and a lack of safeguards for the civil liberties of D.C. Black and Latino residents. The findings sparked media discussion and policy proposals to address the database's fundamental flaws and reduce its racially disparate impact. She also partnered with the Innocence Project, who used Relativity's ediscovery tools and experience to help exonerate an individual wrongfully incarcerated for 23 years. This collaboration involved si f ti n g th ro u g h 10 0 b a n ke r b oxe s of m ate r i a l s to f i n d key documents that supported innocence claims, ultimately leading to exoneration. Jaclyn emphasizes the impor tance of listening with empathy and acting on what she learns. This approach was crucial during the creation of Justice for Change. She and her team listened to employees, community activists, and legal tech partners and built a program with lasting impact. This approach resulted in prioritizing the needs of social justice-focused organizations, which are often understaffed and under-resourced. As an advocate for Justice for Change, Jaclyn plans road shows to highlight participant stories, engage volunteers, and create business cases for the program's grow th . She also educates potential participants on the program's offerings and engages with industr y leaders on how legal technolog y can close the justice gap. Jaclyn's professionalism, rooted in her commitment to innovation, e t h i c a l p r a c t i c e , a n d c o m m u n i t y e n g a ge m e n t , m ot i v a te s her passion for volunteerism in legal tech and social justice communities. She often speaks on panels focused on bridging the justice gap through technology at conferences such as Relativity Fest, the Pro Bono Institute's Annual Conference, and Legal Services Corporation's Innovations in Technology Conference, where she also serves on the Emerging Leaders Council.
