breaking the data down by segments of the sample (i.e. sexual
orientation, race/ethnicity, gender identity) no one group of
respondents felt less positive than the overall sample.
Beyond impressions formed related to ILTA overall, the survey
attempted to assess the participants impression of ILTA's DEIC.
On a scale of 1 to 3, where 1 represents a positive impression,
2 represents a neutral impression and 3 represents a negative
impression, the overall mean response was 1.6, so mildly positive.
From an overall perspective of the results, we are pleased that
the respondents generally have a positive view of how ILTA is
handling DEI. Naturally, we would have greater confidence in
this assessment with a higher number of surveys completed.
Nevertheless, this survey serves as an excellent benchmark for
measuring our future progress.
This report presents the results of a climate survey conducted to
better understand the current climate and perceptions of Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within our organization. To learn more
about the current climate and perceptions, the survey also included
five open-ended questions. A qualitative analysis of the responses
was conducted to identify areas of strength and opportunities for
improvement in ILTA's DEI efforts.
