2 About ILTA Technology solutions for law organizations and legal departments become more complex every day. Connecting with your peers to exchange ideas with those who have "been there done that " has never been more valuable. For over four decades, the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) has led the way in sharing knowledge and experience for those faced with challenges in their legal practices. ILTA members include law firms, law departments, law schools, and bar associations/law societies of all sizes and all areas of practice. What they have in common is the need to access the latest information about technology products, services, and issues that impact the legal profession. Learn more at iltanet.org. Sangamon Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60607. s I write this, we are approaching Thanksgiving in the USA. One of the aspects of ILTA for which I am most thankful is the trusted resource community we have built — its richness, its endurance, and its value! A FROM THE CEO by Joy Heath Rush ILTA'S 2024 DE+I CLIMATE SURVEY REPORT Ensuring that all ILTAns feel welcome is critical to the health and future of this treasured community. In stating ILTA's Mission, we use the word "trusted" purposefully in describing our community. People come to ILTA to share — the good, the bad, and the ugly — and to seek opinions outside their own organizations. Sharing requires trust. And multiple viewpoints lead to better decisions. Those who do not feel welcome will not trust quickly. Where there is no diversity, we risk sharing within an echo chamber. Therefore, it is essential that ILTA gathers information on how people feel about our community in terms of diversity, equity, and inclusion, then act to continue doing what we do well and seek opportunities to improve. On the following pages, you will read more about our community 's perceptions of ILTA in the DEI context. We hope you will be proud of the overall positive perception, as well as supportive of our continuing efforts to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the ILTA community. As we close out 2024, I wish you all the best for the rest of this year and for 2025. Hope to see you somewhere in the ILTA-verse soon!
