Nominee / T R A N S F O R M A T I V E P R O J E C T O F T H E Y E A R O Ogletree Deakins g l e t r e e D e a k i n s , o n e o f t h e l a r g e s t l a b o r a n d employment law firms representing management, successfully launched their Client Portal project in May 2023 at the firm's premier client event, Workplace Strategies. The firm engaged client companies, provided a wonderful experience (demos, sign-up, takeaways, i n fo r m a t i o n a l s e s s i o n s ) , a n d s e c u r e d m o r e t h a n 1 0 0 subscriptions by the end of the event. The largest innovation project in the firm's history, the Client Portal transformed how Ogletree Deakins clients access premier resources by providing a secure front door to valuable client-facing tools and content. It offers prompt legal updates as well as benchmarking and claims dashboards. Template policies are available for individual access or using turnkey automated handbook builder t e c h n o l o g y. Te m p l a t e e m p l o y m e n t applications, offer letters, agreements, onboarding requirements and notices for every state and significant locality, training materials, law summaries, and step-by-step task guidelines for remote work are all readily available. The firm regularly adds new offerings to the Client Portal. It recently launched a FLSA White-Collar Exemption Audit Tool, a PAGA claims dashboard, and an NLRB Union Election Petitions Tracker. The Client Portal is the primary channel for clients to access and fast-track compliance. It provides a flexible and s c a l a b l e p l a t fo r m to a c c o m m o d a te a d d e d c o n t e n t , f e a t u r e s , a n d collaboration needs readily. Additionally, providing clients with easy access to information in a branded, well-designed platform allows the firm to scale and explore more sophisticated pricing models and content strategies as needed. Launching the Client Portal was the culmination of a highly collaborative, firm-wide strategic planning and feedback process involving a diverse set of key stakeholders and a robust project team representing the firm's attorneys, paralegals, professional staff, office administrators, and executive and administrative leadership, and clients. The fabric of Ogletree Deakins' culture is based on their Client Pledge. Many of these commitments align with ILTA's Core Values.
