J u l i a M o n t g o m e r y i s a n a w a rd - w i n n i n g c h a n g e management professional who solves business challenges through practical, data-driven strategies that build effective adoption of technology solutions. Julia combined wisdom collected through 15+ years of change management experience with neuroscience-based research about the impact of change on the brain to create a set of best practices and approaches designed to increase new technology adoption rates among attorneys. Julia champions the value of change management and differentiating between technology usage and effective adoption. She guides clients through the change journey by combining eLearning content with practical advice and best practices. ILTA sparked Julia's passion for the legal tech sector and helped expand her understanding of what being a "technology professional" meant beyond the traditional idea of a network engineer. Julia reflects that early in her career, ILTA was where she met women making a place for themselves in what had traditionally been a male-dominated profession. It was reassuring, inspiring, comforting, and encouraging. She now strives to share those experiences with other women in legal tech. Julia serves as a Co-Chair of ILTA's Women Who Lead Initiative and addressed the topic of effective change management for lawyers at the ILTACON 2023 G100 event.
