Why did the team make these
changes and were the changes
successful?
• The process changes were made to ensure we can
publish in September so the data can be used as Firms
prepare their budgets.
• We also knew that security is a growing concern
among our members and felt it was important to have
that expertise on the team.
• Given the number of mergers and acquisitions among
the Business Partner community, we spent extra time
working with our BPs to ensure we had the correct
product names and company names.
• More respondents mean better data for our members.
All were successful.
How do you think the survey will look
in 2025 and beyond?
We are exploring ways to make the survey more valuable
to various member communities. To that wend, we're
exploring ways to present the data, also looking at ways
to do deep dives based on specific areas of interest, firm
size, etc.
What's your favorite part of the
survey?
Interacting with the survey team – it's a group of smart,
talented, and committed volunteers. And having worked in
the legal technology arena for almost 40 years, it's really
fun to see how things are evolving and how quickly they're
