The Women Who Lead Road Show wasn't our only returning event. Welcome
Back, ILTACON Europe!
Our organizing committee set out to create "a conference they would want to
attend." And they worked to make it completely different from anything ILTA has
done before or that has been offered by others in the region. And it was brilliant! We
essentially had five keynotes interspersed with generous time for networking and
book-ended by socials the night before and following the event. We were limited by
the venue to 300 attendees, and we filled the house, with more than 200 different
law firms represented! A huge thanks to Andrew Powell and Damien Behan for
their vision and to the rest of the committee and to the staff for bringing it to life.
And can we talk about returns without talking about ILTACON? Our second
largest ever, with rave reviews for the content and opportunity for connections.
ILTACON 2021 was an amazing accomplishment in the midst of a pandemic.
ILTACON 2022 was BACK! The energy, the enthusiasm, and the ILTA Love
(thanks, Henry Chace!) were palpable. Our business partners pulled out all the
stops, and the staff kept everything humming. What a wonderful experience! I
think I am still basking in the glow! Lest we think ILTA only does events, how
about these accomplishments?
• Tech Survey with the highest percentage of participation in recent
history (and maybe ever)!
• Record production (and download) of podcasts.
• Webinars, Master Classes, Product Briefings representing a total of
more than 100 live virtual programs, including some new formats such
as our Security Tabletop!
• New roundtables for Docketing, Training, and more!
• Four issues of Peer to Peer, totaling hundreds of pages of content with
over 20,000 downloads!
And so much more!
As I look back over 2022 during this season of thanks and reflection, I am
grateful for all ILTAns. There is no community in any industry in the world like
this one. Thanks to you! Wishing you peace, health, and all that makes you the
