First, look to identify what is stopping you from making change happen, and if you were to do things differently, what are some of the areas you would consider? What can be learned from the history of previous initiatives? What worked and what didn't? Why was that the case? Simplify the narrative so that it is simple and compelling and accessible to all your target audiences. Focus on the benefits of using this framework: • Forces the legal team to associate efforts to the company's goals, • Maps projects to high value gains, • Sets clear priorities for the team and employees, • Saves time as you do not pursue unnecessary initiatives that will not yield benefits for your organization, • Reduces costs, • Reduces overall risk to the business, and • Reduces risk of failure of key initiatives.
