Membership Matters
Reflections on 2020
As we think about all that has happened in the
past year, it was one that none of us would have
expected; but through it all, we can be grateful
for so many things. First, for ILTAns who came
together when COVID-19 first hit and within just
a few days were able to put together a full webpage
of resources to help others experiencing similar
challenges. Second, for the continued sharing of
knowledge, expertise, and mastery-of-pivoting by
ILTAns across the globe while each and every one
of your landscapes continued to shift. And third,
for the incredible contributions of our volunteers
in helping roll out the industry participant
category and two fully virtual conferences (one of
which ILTA won an award for)! While we could go
on and on with the many successes we are grateful
for and the many contributions ILTAns continued
to make to the field of legal technology while their
own worlds kept changing, we want to take a
moment to thank all of you for hanging in there
over the last year with us. Each and every one of
you inspire us and we look forward to continuing
to bring you resources and opportunities to help
you continue to be the best legal technologist you
can be. And don't forget, if your organization has
not yet renewed it's membership for the 2021
term, now is a great time to do so!

Expanded ILTA Volunteer
Opportunities
We are pleased to share that many of ILTA's
Volunteer Opportunities are now open to ILTA
Business Partners and Industry Participants
to apply to! The latest Volunteer groups to open
eligibility to ILTAns in these categories include
the ILTACON Session Coordinators and LegalSEC
Session Coordinators. While applications are
now closed for these roles, we encourage all
ILTAns across the ecosystem to keep a watchful
eye on our volunteer webpage for more volunteer
opportunities to come soon!
Many of ILTA's Volunteer roles can provide
you opportunities to learn skills that will advance
you in your career, including meeting planning,
networking, problem solving, creative design,
and so much more.
ILTA Volunteers assist the organization
with large and small tasks, anything from helping
contribute their thoughts or expertise to a single
project to leading education and networking
efforts on major conferences that bring together
thousands of legal tech professionals across
