Online O nce again, it's the time of year when we look back and reflect on the past year and make our plans for the new year. We look holistically at the successes and things that went well, as well as what we can learn to improve upon in the new year. For this issue of Peer to Peer, the theme is "International Relations: Technology and Governance take to the World Stage". The worldwide shift to virtual-first included the ILTA world as well. As we look back on our 2020 benefits, we see hints of the changes reflected in all of our offerings. At ILTA, we're proud that the changes helped us innovate our offerings in ways we will carry forward into the future. Meeting and Events It comes as no surprise that any in-person events we normally hosted throughout the year saw a big shift beginning in March 2020. However, ILTAns have been successfully navigating virtual networking and education for some time, so they were quick to adapt to meetings and conferences being offered in a virtual space. Presenting in-person or virtually, our conference committees continued planning in a business as usual fashion. They planned and executed their stellar education content without missing a beat. LegalSEC was the first conference of ours to go fully virtual, with CLE, PDU and CISSP (Continuing Education Unit (CEU)) credits offered. Many members took advantage of earning CEUs through LegalSEC, which was especially timely and convenient as they were ironing out their own remote work details. Attendees had access to all of the session recordings and those who weren't able to attend could purchase access to the recordings to watch on their own schedules. ILTACON was rebranded to ILTA>ON with its own dedicated event website. It was five days of education, socials and networking. A visit to the ILTA>ON website wrap up page gives you a glimpse into the depth and breadth that attendees experienced. As in the past, we recorded the sessions and all of the attendees still have access to the recordings within the event site which makes it an event they can revisit whenever they desire. by Jeanne Martinez
