67 I L T A N E T . O R G Autumn saw a flurry of additional events being offered. All being offered virtually made it more accessible since no travel was required. Offered this year: • Litigation Support Day Powered by Ohio - a full day dedicated to Litigation Support, with educational content geared toward the complex world of eDiscovery. • Two days with Matt Homann geared towards improving work skills in this new Virtual World - one day appropriately focused on Meeting Design for Virtual Meetings and another powerful and collaborative day on Innovating Virtually. • ILTACON South America – two days of sessions with discussion focused on the unique needs of the South American market, and using interpretation services to ensure our Portuguese and Spanish speaking members were fully supported in participating. • Mid-Law CIO Summit – a day focusing on being a CIO when your Business Continuity Plan becomes your day-to-day reality. • Two "New to Legal" Workshops were also offered – wherever you are in your career, if you are new to the legal ecosystem and/or are interested in understanding the business and practice of law, working with lawyers and the technologies and security issues in law firms and legal departments, this workshop was for you. Positive reviews were given for all of the new events, and we already have some new events in the queue for 2021: "Inclusion and Your Organization: A Forum on Diversity and Equity" being sponsored by our new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Community and then a four part roadshow being sponsored by our Women Who Lead community. Stay tuned for details! Sponsor Directory As work practices for many law firms shifted this year, so too did their technology needs. As legal technologists identified new or changed needs – from virtual support of their lawyers and staff, to changes in client relationships or need to improve eDiscovery practices. In many cases, these shifts meant the need to revisit or add vendor relationships. ILTA's Sponsor Directory is an ideal place to search for product/service vendor options, identify contacts at existing ILTA business partners, and create relationships or start conversations. After you find a business partner in the directory, you can reach out to talk to members in the community to learn about their experiences with that product/ service to learn more, as well. If you haven't stopped by the Sponsor Directory this year, we encourage you to think about it as new needs arise in your business in the coming months. Publications We had a stellar year of publications. Our quarterly magazine Peer to Peer continues to be a popular way for members to learn and stay on top of changes in their areas of practice. Once again, the Summer edition had so much content it had to be split into two issues. If you didn't get a chance to read them when they came out - you can catch up on them here. We also had a full calendar of published white papers. Themes included: Practice Management; Tech Solutions and Litigation and Practice Support. You can check them all out from here. Some of the additional surveys results produced this year include: Legal AI Tools; Litigation and Practice Support; Knowledge Management and Marketing Technology. You can check them out here. Of course, we have the jewel in our publication crown - the 2020 Technology Survey. Kudos go to all of the firms who made the effort to carve out some time to complete the survey. We know it wasn't easy with all of the extra work already on your plate due to the pandemic, but included in the survey was a new section addressing technology during COVID times making the survey results even more meaningful to all.
