Membership Matters

utside of traditional ILTA membership, ILTA provides
individuals an opportunity to become further involved
with the organization at the participant level as either
an Associate Participant or an Industry Participant.
This includes individuals working in or with the legal
industry. Per ILTA's Bylaws, an Associate Participant may be an unemployed
individual who is either actively seeking employment in the legal profession
or has retired from it; and an Industry Participant is an individual working
in or closely with the legal industry. To qualify as an Industry Participant,
the individual must be a vendor, consultant, legal service provider, or an
individual whose employing entity would qualify as a Member (but is not a
Member) .

As the legal landscape evolves, so will ILTA. ILTA is always striving
to better reflect the legal technology ecosystem, increase knowledge sharing,
and allow deeper participation and collaboration of thought leaders. As such,
ILTA is also now accepting Industry Participant applications from employed
legal technologists, who are not already a member of ILTA (or employed by an
ILTA member).
Who is eligible to apply for Industry Participant status?
Legal Technologists that self-identify as a thought leader, expert or specialist
operating as either a consultant or individual employed by an organization
that is not yet a member may apply. Individuals who operate in a sales capacity
are not eligible.
What's offered with Industry Participant Status?
Access to ILTA webinar and podcast recordings, live virtual events, peer to
peer magazine, newsletters, white papers, member discounts, career center
resources, and select online communities.
