But it only takes a visit to a modern law firm to see the widespread impacts those trends have had on legal professionals' work environments. While often resisted, the digitalization experienced by much of business has clearly changed the legal profession as well. Indeed, more than a few legal professionals have likely started wondering whether they work in the legal profession or the tech industry. These thoughts can also turn into worries that there is an effort to substitute rather than supplement in the encroachment of technolo on the law firm and practice of law. This can be true especially for those in new and small practices. Fortunately, legal professionals will find support from legal technolo experts in any effort to maintain their ability to focus on achieving the goals law firms are founded to pursue.
