The late, great Shirley Chisholm said "If
they don't give you a seat at the table,
bring a folding chair." It is with this in
mind that ILTA Publications takes aim at
boardroom tables everywhere and asks:
What seat would you pull up to the table?
Our third chair to table guest is Brianna
Leung, ILTA thought leader, Principal
Consultant at GrowthPlay, and kind and
vocal advocate for women everywhere.
Today, Brianna Leung sits down with ILTA
Senior Content Manager Beth Anne Stuebe
and talks about what chair Brianna would
bring to the table, who else is at that table,
and so much more.

he Breaks the Law is an unparalleled global network for
women leaders of legal disruption. It provides them with a
forum to connect with other like-minded women, to share
their personal stories and experiences with one another, to develop
their innovation skills and knowledge through opportunities for
training, mentoring and coaching and to have a safe space to create,
collaborate and test ideas. It does this via four strands: She Connects,
She Shares, She Develops and She Creates.
The core purpose of the network is to break down silos and
facilitate collaboration across the legal eco-system by bringing
women leaders together: leaders from across the globe, from different
disciplines and backgrounds, all whom are at the forefront of
disruptive legal innovation.
Since the launch in March 2019, the group has attracted over
a thousand female leaders from multiple jurisdictions and a wide
range of backgrounds and disciplines, all of whom have one thing in
common: they are leading the charge and working hard to bring about a
change in our eco-system and the way that legal services are designed,
delivered or implemented. It is a strong community of lawbreakers
who are breaking the mould and challenging the norm to drive positive
change in the legal industry.
