the quarterly magazine of ILTA 81 Peer to Peer 4. StratEgic unity and law2020™ Our theme for ILTA 2010 is Strategic Unity, a concept that resonates the need for law firms and law departments to unite their technology with the practice of law. These disciplines must come together as never before in order to survive and thrive in the future. Conference sessions will be developed around this concept, offering attendees ideas and options in creating unification strategies in their own organizations. In addition, much of the educational program will center around Law2020™, an ILTA multi-year, multi-platform educational programming initiative focusing on the ways in which law firms will have to adapt in order to thrive over the next decade. Sessions will center on the skills, leadership and technologies that will allow firms to harvest real growth from our changing environment. 5. SPEakErS ILTA conference speakers come from ILTA member and vendor ranks. At least 65% of the speakers are ILTA members telling their stories. We expect to have in excess of 350 speakers at ILTA 2010. If you would like to speak at the conference, please visit http:// conference.iltanet.org and click Speakers to let us know of your interest, and tell us what areas of focus you are able to speak on. 8. nEtworking The majority of attendees rate networking as the most important benefit they get from ILTA conferences.
