PEER TO PEER: THE QUARTERLY MAGA ZINE OF ILTA 70 What have been some of your biggest surprises since you took the company private? We were heart-warmed by the incredible reaction and encouragement from our customer base. New client acquisition in the first hundred days was over 33 percent higher than ever before, indicating that organizations previously sitting on the sidelines are pleased with our direction. Our employees also surprised us, shedding six years of big company culture and rekindling their own entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, bringing renewed focus and innovation to our product development and support experiences. While these are reactions we hoped for, the overwhelmingly positive response from our customers, partners and employees made a complex transition worth all the effort. What are your key accomplishments in the first several months as the new independent iManage? We are proud that within the first 100 days we have designed and developed some of the most impactful changes to our products' user interface in the past several years. Our December release, iManage Work 9.3, has a refreshed and modern user experience for our desktop clients, now optimized for high-resolution tablets such as the Microsoft Surface Pro. In addition to support for Windows 10 and Office 2016, iManage Work 9.3 includes over 30 high-value enhancements spanning search, email management, system performance and more, giving customers a compelling reason to update their desktop environments. We added about 50 percent more capacity to our U.S. and U.K. support teams and released the biggest update to our online support system since our inception with a customer help site that provides new content and a single point of access to cases, support knowledge base, software and patch downloads, and the customer forum. What can we expect to see from iManage in 2016? The promise of the new iManage is agility, innovation, customer care and a long-term commitment to this market. The investments we are making now in R&D and support, based on feedback from hundreds of customers, will ensure faster progress on delivering our road map and the highest quality releases and support experience possible. We are focusing on documentation, creating and enhancing new content for the support knowledge base, and moving back to our direct call/access model. Our product focus is on providing a transformative experience for end users, making the product easier to administer and deploy and enhancing functionality around governance and security of information. Customers can expect to see significant innovations in the iManage cloud, providing unmatched security, performance and service levels. We will focus on improving customer communication and bringing back the global and regional iManage user conferences. We're excited to continue to deliver quality service to ILTA's membership. Spotlight on Strategic Relationships ILTA's Strategic Relationship Program recognizes the importance of key relationships and creates opportunities for meaningful dialogs to support educational programming, to provide member feedback that informs future product/service development and to ensure ILTA's involvement in standard-setting initiatives. Andrew Powell, ILTA's Strategic Relationship Liaison for iManage, recently spoke with Neil Araujo, CEO of iManage. Here they reflect on how iManage continues to expand on and improve ILTA member services and benefits through our strategic relationship.
