While working as a technical trainer in the corporate world, a friend introduced me to technology in a small law firm. I accepted a trainer position and was hooked. I love the business challenges in the legal realm. What artists are on your current music playlist? Bob Seger, Train, Mozart and Adele. Yes, I dare stand on the fine musical line between varied interests and utter confusion. What's something most ILTA members don't know about you? I'm a professional magician and a longtime member of the Academy of Magical Arts (aka the Magic Castle of Hollywood). What security concern is top-of-mind for you? I worry about the lack of commitment companies seem to have about educating their users on the various methods used by threat actors for illicit purposes. If people understand what they are looking for and why, they will help mitigate these events. What are the most wondrous moments of your life? I have three distinct memories. Floating in the sky on a parachute, I heard only the sounds of the wind and a bird's wings flapping as it flew by. One night in Hawaii, I was in a small boat a few hundred yards from live lava flowing into the ocean. And the most wondrous of all is when my beautiful wife gave birth to our precious son, and I was witness to the beginning of his life.
