PEER TO PEER: THE QUARTERLY MAGA ZINE OF ILTA 46
Microsoft Intune has been on the market as a
mobile device management solution (MDM) for
several years. A product Microsoft developed
from the ground up, it has been undergoing rapid
feature enhancements and has matured into a
credible alternative in the crowded MDM market.
Born in the cloud, among its key advantages are that it is delivered
via a software as a service model and can be used independently or as an
extension of System Center Configuration Manager.
In October 2014, Microsoft announced that a subset of Intune's
capabilities was being rolled into and provided with the Office 365 Enterprise
E3 and E4 subscriptions, leaving some wondering when they need the full
Intune subscription. This grid can help you decide.
