PRACTICES Mobility has changed the way we do what we do in law firms. We now live in an exciting world where work is no longer constrained to the office. The trends, expectations and demands of an ever- increasing mobile workforce are very real. The way we expect and, frankly, demand to work has drastically changed with the advent of mobility. My work-life balance is not your issue. Make it happen." Mobility refers to whenever someone is out of the office and needs to work. The user could be in a conference room, in the car driving with his knee (don't do this, it's a bad idea), sitting at a public Wi-Fi hotspot The Practices, Pitfalls and Policies of a Post-BYOD World The post-BYOD world is upon us. With it comes continuous advances in data mobility, collaboration and efficiency (the practices), some frightening dangers and security risks (the pitfalls), and the challenge and responsibility of law firms to bring all of this together effectively (the policies).
