Pay close attention to the work coming your way, and always challenge yourself to determine if it’s work that can be delegated. THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE RIGHT JOB In managing my time and controlling chaos, I have a few tools at my disposal. I use Outlook to communicate with everyone. I work on the zero inbox principle. The best kept secret, from Microsoft, is called OneNote, and it is my savior for keeping track of all projects for my team. As you may have guessed, my team is required to use OneNote too. Items that require my attention are put into OneNote and prioritized, allowing me to keep my inbox empty (most of the time). I use my calendar to schedule my time for working on priority items (such as writing this article!).
