What began with deployment of the original CoCounsel product in early 2025 quickly evolved into a full-scale enterprise rollout and collaborative testing program. For Womble Bond Dickinson, however, the initiative was about more than implementing new technology. The firm sought to transform AI from an experimental concept into a practical, everyday tool capable of supporting lawyers across all practice areas while strengthening the firm's broader innovation strategy. The project required extensive due diligence, pilot design, early-access testing, and rapid firmwide deployment.
