Since taking the helm in 2016, Sophie has overseen a multiyear investment strategy focused on combining advanced technology with human expertise to help clients address increasingly complex legal, regulatory, and investigative challenges. In 2024, Sophie directed the launch of IQ.AI by FTI Technology, a suite of client-centric generative AI solutions designed to support legal and compliance teams across investigations, antitrust, data breach, and regulatory matters. Under Sophie's leadership, FTI Technology significantly expanded its AI research and development capabilities, hiring data scientists with ediscovery expertise and building strategic partnerships with leading technology providers to create flexible, fit-for- purpose AI solutions. Drawing on her extensive background in document review and managed review, Sophie also oversaw the development of IQ.AI for Review, which accelerates document review workflows while improving quality control, privilege review, and key fact identification. Sophie's innovation strategy emphasizes flexibility and responsible AI deployment. IQ.AI operates through a product- agnostic framework that integrates multiple large language models, natural language processing, and computer vision technologies using platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS Bedrock. This approach allows FTI Technology to tailor solutions to the unique requirements of each client matter while maintaining scalability and defensibility. Beyond technology innovation, Sophie is widely recognized for fostering diverse, collaborative teams and advancing inclusion within the legal technology profession. Her leadership has earned numerous honors, including the 2025 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Lifetime Achievement Award and recognition as a leading diversity champion in the industry.
