Samantha partners with sales and product teams to translate legal client challenges into workflow-focused AI solutions , helping legal professionals adopt tools such as CoCounsel and Deep Research responsibly and ef fectively. T hro ugh t ail ore d d e m on s tration s , s trategic g uid an c e , an d customer workshops, she helps legal teams understand how AI can improve efficiency while maintaining ethical and professional standards. Before joining Thomson Reuters , S amantha worked on the Innovation team at Norton Rose Fulbright, where she evaluated legal technolog y vendors and suppor ted the integration of emerging technologies into legal workflows. That experience gave her a practical understanding of the operational realities law firms face when adopting new technology and continues to shape her client-focused approach today. Beyond her work in the industry, Samantha serves as an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she co-developed and co-teaches the school's first course dedicated to AI and legal technology, launched in Winter 2025. Through this work, Samantha bridges academia and industry, helping future legal professionals develop practical AI skills while addressing concerns about entering an increasingly technology-enabled workforce. She also works directly with legal technology vendors to provide students access to tools shaping the modern legal profession. She spoke at the 2025 ILTA Roadshow in Toronto and delivered educational sessions on AI pitfalls and best practices for legal professionals . In addition, Samantha hosts and judges legal technology hackathons with organizations including CodeX and Osgoode Hall, while mentoring high school girls through the GEM (Girls e-Mentorship) program to encourage greater participation in technology careers. Through her work across legal practice, education, and mentorship, Samantha continues to advance thought ful , accessible, and responsible innovation within the legal technology industry.
