This innovative solution addresses t h e a c c e s s - t o - j u s t i c e c r i s i s t h a t disproportionately affects low-income and historically marginalized communities. Originally intended to streamline the federal asylum application process, Crescendo has the potential to revolutionize various legal fields, from assisting domestic violence survivors to improving corporate legal workflows. In just 60 days, DWT designed, built, and launched Crescendo, exemplifying the power of human-centered design combined with legal expertise, delivering efficiency on an unprecedented scale. Crescendo's impact extends beyond pro bono work, establishing a new standard for legal innovation and demonstrating how AI can be equitably and compassionately harnessed to transform legal experiences for underserved clients. Crescendo's initial deployment involved a strategic partnership with in-house lawyers and nonprofit organizations, showcasing the tool's potential to transform legal service delivery across various practice areas. This first iteration concentrated on the federal asylum application process, interviewing asylum seekers with empathy and generating complete I-589 Forms, Applications for Asylum, and Withholdings of PROJECT Crescendo Driven by innovation, a bold vision, and our proven expertise with AI, DWT created The Crescendo Engine—a revolutionary AI-powered tool that reimagines the client- attorney interview process. 2025 WINNER ILTA AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE 2025 6 6
