Establishing and leading She Breaks the Law (SBTL), a unique global network of women disruptors dedicated to driving positive change in the international legal ecosystem, is the crowning achievement of Priya's legal tech career. Since its launch on International Women's Day in 2019, SBTL has grown to nearly 4,000 members across over 50 countries. This unique collective unites women from diverse backgrounds—lawyers, technologists, founders, and operations experts—in cross-functional collaborations that lay foundations for inclusive spaces where diverse voices lead transformative change. SBTL's groundbreaking report, "No Woman Left Behind: Closing the AI Gender Gap in Law," in collaboration with the Next 100 Years of Women in Law and Linklaters was published in December 2024. As the first gender- lensed survey on AI adoption within the legal sector, it reveals critical insights about industry-wide gender disparities. Used widely, it is a powerful catalyst for igniting essential conversations about the importance of increasing leadership opportunities for women and practical solutions for closing the industry's gender gap as legal technologists step forward to shape the global legal profession's transition through the rapidly shifting landscape of the Digital Age. Priya is passionate about mentoring women technologists and legal professionals as they transition into legal tech roles. She offers support and encouragement to mentees throughout their career journeys. She prioritizes creating communities of belonging where women can learn, develop leadership skills, connect with peers, and access the resources needed to help shape the future of legal technology, education, and entrepreneurship. She designs and hosts events and webinars to inspire industry-wide dialogue around emerging topics like AI ethics, digital transformation, and inclusive innovation.
